A True Gem in the Mountains! Mount Engadine is a truly unique and special experience. Upon arrival, you are greeted like family, and that theme continues throughout your whole stay. The lodge promotes connection and coziness, and I will always remember morning coffee by the fire. We had our wedding here and will be revisiting every year for our anniversary. Can’t wait to go back!!

Honeymoon Stay We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and loved it! Thew views, staff, and food were great! The perfect place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life! Definitely recommend the charcuterie/tea and hiking Chester Lake (easy), Smutwood Peak (hard), and Tent Ridge (hard) which are ~5min drive from the lodge

Incredible Mountain Getaway Staying at this mountain hideaway was worth every penny! The views, the food, the lodging, the ambience and staff were all top notch! I highly recommend staying here and at least staying 2 nights! Your stay starts with an amazing charcuterie board and treats with afternoon tea, to which we also got to enjoy music from a local musician playing the hand pan. That was followed by an easy check in to our cabin. At dinner we were seated in a private area beside a fire to celebrate our anniversary while the food was delivered in a 3 course style. Drinks were great and you had a menu to fill out your choices for breakfast and lunch the next day to make that process super easy. We got to enjoy a fire in the evening made by the staff and got to know some other guests! In the late evening we were able to star gaze right from our balcony to a view that was beyond what we could imagine! The next morning at breakfast they had pastries and fresh salmon laid out with juice and coffee/ tea available while you waited for your main entree. Then a packed lunch for your adventures! All the food was incredible! We couldn’t wait for dinner the next evening! The facilities were great, good hot water and nice smelling toiletries. Clean sheets and bedding, heaters and fans in your room and chairs on your balcony. They even had wagons to bring your belongings to your room. They thought of everything!! I highly highly recommend staying here at least once and checking out a day hike in the area.

August in Mount Engadine Just fantastic! We stayed in a Glamping tent and had an excellent view of the Mud Munching Moose (check out Mud Munching Moose at Mount Engadine video). You will not need snacks! They feed you until you are stuffed and it is all delicious. As a couple we were placed with 3 other couples for meals and had a fabulous time getting to know everyone. The bed was super comfortable and my husband slept like a baby.

This was our 3rd stay at Mount Engadine Lodge for my husband's birthday... and each stay continues to get better. This time, we stayed in one of the glamping tents and absolutely loved ❤️ it. Despite my mistake of apparently requesting the beds be set up as 2 twins, the staff were so understanding and accommodating without batting and eyelash, and quickly corrected my mistake. My husband won't eat lamb, duck, or fish, and salmon was on the menu, but again, the chef had chicken lined up for him! The Mother's Day live music of Phillip Nugent added such amazing beauty and atmosphere with his stunning voice and guitar playing. Each one of the staff was friendly, kind, genuine, and so helpful. We will most definitely be back.

Great stay Our stay for our anniversary was amazing with great food, very clean and well appointed rooms, and with super friendly staff. The only thing we did not enjoy was having to share a table with other guests for meals on our second day (despite requesting a private table for the duration of our stay and being promised one by staff prior to our stay). While this is not generally a big deal, it was our anniversary and we do not often get time away with just each other. It would have been nice to have our meals with just each other to have private discussion versus making small talk with strangers.

TLDR: Off grid, and worth every penny. We are definitely coming back. Bogged down by work? At your limit with the monotony of daily life? Or maybe you are just interested in cabins and the mountains. This is the perfect place to relax and or go on an adventure. There's lots to do in the area, and the staff is superb. I have never met a group of more chill people. The girlfriend has been stressed about work for a while and I haven't had a break in a long time, so it was time to get away. You know what happened? We didn't think about work or anything back home the entire time we were here. The staff is amazing, and the food is unexpectedly superb. (No offence) there are board games in the lodge, and lots to do in the area. Considering they are off grid, with staff that lives on site, the pricing is completely fair. I think my only complaint is as a couple of introverts cleverly disguised as extroverts, the seating on a normal day is a little off putting. However, you share a table with other chill people as well so it works out in the end. Still reading? You should be checking out what you are going to do once here instead. We will either see you again at our wedding or maybe once before. Likely going to do that ice plunge too. Thanks again!

Excellent Stay Can't describe in words how excellent our stay was. Came with my wife for our anniversary and Mount Engadine delivered in spades. The food was exceptional and the packed lunch to take on your afternoon activity made everything so easy. Would make the drive just for the charcuterie board served at afternoon tea. Lovely stay and will be back

gem for romance in the mountains My wife and I enjoyed connecting to each other deep in the Alberta mountains. My favourite part is not having cell coverage or wifi in my glamping tent, which by the way was as comfortable as any hotel room. I loved the concept of having all my meals planned, and they were delicious, and included in the price. I mean this was just amazing, i will be back multiple times per year

My husband and I spent this weekend in the “Writers Studio” glamping tent. Wow were we impressed! Very spacious, immaculately clean and the king bed was amazingly soft and cozy. The cuisine was very tasty with beautiful presentation and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Most importantly for us was how pet friendly Mt. Engadine is - upon arrival our dogs also had comfortable beds, bowls and yummy Mut Hut Canmore speciality cookies - they were also very impressed ! We had a great adventure and highly recommend Mt Engadine! Thank you for a great experience.

A wonderful getaway in the perfect location! Staying in the glamping tents was an absolute dream, the beds were so cozy and it was amazing to look out in the middle of the night and see a sky full of stars. I stayed with my husband, and our 4 year old GSP pup, and it was the perfect little family getaway for a night whilst camping for 2 weeks around Banff National park prior to staying at Engadine. It was the perfect reset, the location was wonderful. We hiked Mount Smutwood (difficult hike but beautiful), and Tent Ridge (a bit easier, stunning as well!), and both trailheads were a quick drive from the lodge making the location wonderful. We also saw a large moose during dinner time in the meadow below, it was so exciting! We can't wait to return, highly recommend a stay here!

The best dog-friendly getaway! This past June my partner & I (+ our dog) visited from Ontario & Mount Engadine was such a great place to stay. The rooms & lodge was so cozy, the location of the Lodge was incredible, the staff were so friendly and the food was delicious. We had the most relaxing stay! It was so nice to be nestled in the backcountry of Kananaskis, without needing to worry about food. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. It was also so great we didn't have to leave our dog behind! We can't wait for our next visit.

This place is amazing! Food and customer service! My boyfriend and I stay here for 1 night and we had the best experience ever! ❤️ We stayed in the Eagle room which is very nice and clean, we have the mountain view from our window. The food are superb... The afternoon tea was so good, and for a couple like us, it's a lot so we didn't finish it but we ate the dessert that is part of it though (which we didn't know that there is) 😁. The dinner was very fancy experience for us because we had it by the fireplace and the food was so delicious. For the breakfast we had it at the same spot by the fireplace (we didn't expect) that's why it's another happy experience. ❤️ I love their crepe 😋. And the pack lunch was great! And I will never forget the best customer service ever! All the staffs are super friendly, the receptionist (Severina) I hope I spelled it right ☺️, the bartender and the staffs from the kitchen too. This place is highly recommended!

Absolute Gem Stayed at Mount Engadine for my wife and I’s anniversary. The lodge is in an absolutely gorgeous valley surrounded by mountains. Check in was very easy and quick. We stayed in one of the tents, it was a great experience. So cozy playing board games and cards in front of the fire place. Bed was so comfy!! The food from breakfast, bag lunch, afternoon tea and dinner was all amazing!! Skylar makes some of the best cocktails you can find (cedar plank smoked old fashion was to die for), so make sure you try one of his signature drinks. All the staff were super friendly and inviting. Was sad to leave, gonna have to head back for summer trip!!

We booked a three-day stay at the Moose room in the main lodge as a quick "mini-moon" getaway after our wedding in Banff. Despite being situated somewhat off the grid in Spray Valley, the lodge features luxury amenities (including wifi), and absolutely amazing food. Generally, Mt Engadine Lodge is a great choice for anyone looking for a nature getaway without sacrificing comfort. The set-up is ideal for hikers: breakfast is plentiful and delicious, the kitchen provides substantial hikers lunches with a good degree of choice, and staff is very knowledgeable and proactive in helping you planning activities during your stay. In the afternoon you can relax in the common area or on the patio overlooking the beautiful valley, snacking on the complementary afternoon tea. Dinner consists of three courses plus a bread starter, all of whom changing daily and always both creative and plentiful. Afterwards you are free to lounge and mingle in the common area, at the bar, in front of the fireplace, or at the campfire outside. More likely however a food coma will lead you back to your comfortable room (the Moose room is huge and features a lounging area complete with gas fireplace). But maybe that's just us.

1 night Honeymoon stay We stayed at Mount Engadine for one night during our honeymoon road-trip, and our stay was incredible! We absolutely loved everything about our stay, albeit relatively short - the location, the people, the food, everything was perfect - the staff went out of their way to make our stay really special and it was lovely to be able to chat to other guests in the communal areas with a hot drink after a day of walking! We stayed in one of the lodges and it had an excellent view, perfect to look out on as you wake up. As all meals are included in your stay it means you don’t have to worry about anything whilst you’re there, which was perfect for us! Thanks to all the team - we’d recommend Mount Engadine to anyone planning a trip in the area!

All inclusive Kananaskis mountain experience Loved the location, food and drinks. Exceptional staff. Great for romantic weekend and if you have a dog they are welcomed! Would have loved a view form the writers studio glamping tent and some more places to explore around the grounds would have been nice. Loved the welcome, cozy lodge with a fire every morning and evening and the coffee was fresh, strong and hot. Able to bring your own wine for a cork fee as well. Loved the deck in front of the lodge, such a beautiful view. Great hiking in the area although the time of year will be important to consider. It was still snowy and slushy on the trails in most areas. The drive in is a bit underwhelming as the glamping tents are right on the driveway in. Not much to see until you get onto the main deck of the lodge or in the dining room form the windows. If you have a room with a view that may be more enjoyable as sadly, we did not. It was a lovely place for a romantic weekend away and worked out perfectly for us with our pup. If you can go in off season it will be more affordable but I can see why you would want to go during nicer weather, you would have more space to enjoy the area in summer I imagine. No working sauna which was disappointing, was hoping for a few more amenities in that regards but otherwise a lovely stay.

Just back from spending a few blissful days at Engadine for Valentine's with my partner. Everything - but EVERYTHING - about this place was simply perfect. Cozy and tastefully decorated rooms (we stayed at Burstall cabin) that are super quiet (quite possibly THE quietest place I have ever had the privilege of staying at, and that is a huge treat), curtains that completely black out the light, which made for beautiful uninterrupted sleep, intentional lack of tech connection (Wi-Fi is excellent at the Main Lodge, but not in the rooms, and no cell service), super friendly and helpful staff (everyone we encountered), exquisite gourmet meals three times a day (we are vegetarians, and the Lodge catered to us simply beautifully), not to mention the stunning area and location the Lodge sits in! We will certainly be back - we need to experience a glamping tent and the yurt in summer.

A Delightful Mountain Escape My husband and I had the good fortune of visiting this lodge in the middle of winter in December and it was a beautiful place to go. Even though there are many things to do outside like cross country skiing and snowshoeing, we decided to stay in the lodge and enjoy the fireplaces. It really is a lovely experience to just relax and play some games and eat tremendously good food. We felt very spoiled by the whole experience and we would recommend it to people who want to have romantic getaways.

Romantic Adventure Getaway! This past weekend we got away to Mount Engadine Lodge. I haven’t been up since 2018 and almost forgot how perfect of a place it is to relax while enjoying all the outdoor activities. We cross country ski’d, we hiked, enjoyed every one of the four meals that are included with the room rate. Cocktails and beers are additional but so reasonably priced. Better prices than you'd get in the city. Covid restrictions made it a new experience as the usual family style meals were changed to in-room dining and we booked out time slots at the outdoor and indoor fireplaces. We loved experiencing the lodge during Covid and felt they did a great job of cleaning and keeping guests safe. We are already looking forward to another stay. ♥️🏔

Honeymooners My husband and I did a tour of the luxury hotels in the Rockies for our honeymoon this year, and although Engadine has a more rustic charm then most places we stayed we loved it! We stayed in the glamping tent and it felt luxurious. The only recommendation I have is to add some decor to the tent to give it a nicer appearance on the inside. But the stove made the tent super warm and cozy and the beds were by far the most luxurious and comfortable during our entire honeymoon! We may be biased because we love to hike in Kananaskis but the location was amazing and the views are gorgeous! Exactly why we came. The food was good, nothing to complain about at all, although we did have better at other hotels. We loved the packed lunch addition! I wish all hotels did this! The dinning area was very loud, which wasn't ideal for an intimate honeymoon trip, but we didn't mind too much, as we were able to escape to peaceful quiet bliss the rest of the time. Overall I was very happily impressed with our experience at Engadine and we really enjoyed our stay.
